Attendees Discovered How to Drive Results with Mazak at DISCOVER 2025

More than 1,800 visitors from across the continent joined Mazak for DISCOVER 2025. The event included the broadest machine tool display in the United States and delivered our latest innovations to every attendee. We demonstrated technologies to suit shops of all sizes and workflows of all types. On top of having over 30 Mazak machine tools on display with live, real-world cutting demonstrations, we hosted keynote speakers and panel discussions with insights and advice from industry experts. From start to finish, DISCOVER 2025 made Mazak the place to be from October 6-10, 2025.

This year’s showcase theme was “Drive Results with Innovation.” With forward-thinking shops in mind, every aspect of DISCOVER 2025 was packed with advanced technologies to maximize future manufacturing opportunities and reach new heights of production excellence.

Live demonstrations of essential Mazak technology captivated the crowd in four Action Areas, each with exceptional examples of part production.

The Advanced Machining Action Area boasted industry-leading solutions for extremely complex parts, including full 5-axis machining and our NEO series of machines. The VARIAXIS i-700 NEO and the HCN-5000 NEO were both paired with the Mazak PALLETECH system.

In the High-Volume Production Action Area, our SYNCREX Swiss-type turning machines powered through small, precise parts on eight and nine-axis configurations designed for high-speed productivity and shortening setup times. These machines are built on High Damping Composite Casting (HDCC) bases for better rigidity, less thermal distortion, longer tool life and superior surface finishes.

Our Multi-Tasking Technology Action Area put a spotlight on the precision and efficiency shops gain with DONE IN ONE® capability. This area included our HQR NEO Series of Multi-Tasking Turning Centers, INTEGREX i Series with long Y-axis stroke capability, INTEGREX j Series for next-generation single-setup part processing, and our direct-drive QUICK TURN Series of CNC Turning Centers.

In the Shop Solutions Action Area, our affordable Ez Series spanned from Vertical Traveling Columns to Vertical Machining Centers to CNC Turning Centers and more to provide easy installation, enhanced ergonomics and reliable processing that fits any shop size. In addition, we showcased compact machine models from our QUICK TURN and QTE Series for shops with diverse machining needs and limited square footage.

Throughout our Action Areas, we integrated automation options that save time, enable lights-out manufacturing and help shops overcome the growing lack of skilled workers. Our labor-saving technology allows less-experienced operators to run their machinery effectively.

The shop owners, top executives and researchers who took part in these presentations provided an informed perspective on where the industry’s going that captivated audience attention.
